Hope and Love in Our Time of Uncertainty and Fear

In this time of upheaval, uncertainty and great fear, I want to offer some hope and some love. My way of serving up this offering is by sharing my optimism- my organic silver lining. This way of viewing the world is inherent to me. It is the light that comes from me and is always there, even in times of deep pain, questioning and change.

And so here it is~ I think there are some gifts in this moment. We are being forced to slow down, spend more time with our loved ones and to find new ways to connect with our families and with the outside world (while staying in our homes.) I think the slowness is much needed, we need the time to sleep a bit more, to talk more, to pause, to enjoy the moment. There is nothing that brings the value of life into focus more than the risk of losing it. Now is the only time we have, let’s enjoy this moment, in all the ways that we can.

Spending more time with our families is also a blessing. What if we come through this crisis closer to our kids and our loved ones then we were before? What if the extra time in the same room allows for deeper conversations, more discussion and more laughs? I think it is possible that there can be more knowing of ourselves and our families through this crisis.

I am deeply grateful for social media which allows us to stay connected to each other. How can we use it to check in on those who are far away? To keep talking and stay close? To engage with each other and find community in new ways? What if we share our fear with our Facebook friends?I think we will feel less alone and less scared. It is in the being together with this vulnerability that there can be healing. And that is something we are all needing now.

I am here with love and support for all of you. I will offer my prayers, my hope and my deep love. I am available at any time, to listen, to talk, to brainstorm and to offer my shining silver lining.
